A 4 yr old in London was trying to wash his 1 week old dirty puppy (Think it was a Cockerspanial) and flushed it down the drain. After locating it with a plumbers "underground camera"(BBC) It was rescued 4 hours later from a waste pipe.
It's amazing that it survived that. Poor little thing. That had to be scary!
This is exactly the kind of story I receive daily in emails from our bored office secretary. Either that, or just a long sequence of cute animal pictures.
