Ok, i might be a little bit overly worried, but it seems like my PS4 displays my real name, even though i changed the settings so others including people on my friends list can't see it without a request. Maybe i am just worried and it is only showing the name to me specifically, but i am not hundred percent sure and i don't like having my real name out for every strange to see.
I think it only shows your real name on your PS4, and everyone else will just see what your PSN ID is, unless they request your real name and you say "YEE", so you're fine and swell.
And if anybody requests my real name, no, it's not Sheldon, MYTH IS BUSTED! : P

@DiscoDriver43: I was worried too till I asked a co-worker of mine who I had friend on the PS4. On your PS4 it will say your real name but on everyone else's it says your PSN name unless you say yes to a real name invite.
