Topic: Presenter snaps fingers in Nintendo Direct

I noticed how the presenter snaps his fingers during Nintendo Direct right before showing a game segment. I think this started after the Nintendo Switch was announced. Does this have something to do with Nintendo Switch or is it a coincidence?

The snap sound effect is a Switch thing, in handheld mode you can hear the sound when connecting the joycons.

The snap effect has been around since the Switch's first official reveal video. I've always liked it; it's simple, recognizable, and catchy.

That’s what I thought. It’s pretty cool, they should come up with one for 3DS too.
