Nah, I was never a fan of Tag. I sure wish we had something to do
Then suddenly, a deck of cards appears
Niiiiice.

StarBoy: "Cool! So, which card game should we play?"

I was always a fan of Go Fish. We'll play until NP wakes up.

Twink: "High card goes first."

Twink picks up a card

"Jack!"

Xkhaoz draws a card

"Three! All right, Twink, you go first."

Np...we have a need for you in the Power Rangers isle. NP to the Power Rangers isle.

Since I have to go to Taekwondo and NP isn't showing up, I'm declaring this episode cancelled until NP comes. So, day off.

NP: "Hello?"

NP is stuck in another dimension

NP: What was it that fairy said... "I remember! Eat a mushroom in order to escape! Now where's that mushroom...?"

NP spots the mushroom...and watches in horror as it's scoffed by a Ninji!

Ninji: "Hee-hee-hee! Now you'll be trapped in this prison forever! And you'll never return to your world! Bye!"

The Ninji disappears

NP: "Wait! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

"Wait...no...don't...leave...me...here...alone..."

Suddenly, a mushroom falls onto NP's lips. He licks them in his sleep and wakes up

NP: "What the...? YUCK!!!!"

NP throws the mushroom to the ground

NP: "Something is definitely wrong!"

Suddenly, an Oran Berry appears in a flash of blue light

NP: "Very wrong! I have to see the Professor!"

NP walks up to Professor Gadd's room, and hears something from within...

Gadd: "We must take the honey carefully and quietly, or the Kakuna will hatch...there. Now we have a jarful of Beedrill honey to take home with us! (Slipping noises and cymbal crashing, followed by cracking and buzzing) Uh-oh! BEEDRILL!!!!"

?: "Uh...okay, tune in next time for 'Random Things with Gadd'!

Gadd bursts from the studio

Gadd: "Oh, hello, my boy! You...you didn't...hear that, did you?"

NP hands out the Oran Berry

NP: "This is an Oran Berry, isn't it?"

Gadd: "I have no idea what you're talking about!"

NP: "It has a mix of all five flavours and restores the health of a Pokemon by a little bit."

Gadd: "I think you've flipped out! Maybe it's the lack of nutritious mushrooms..."

NP: "Oh, come on! I've seen you come and go from the portal in your basement!"

Gadd: "...I don't know how you found out about the portal, my boy, but it doesn't need to concern you!"

NP: "Then explain how this fell from thin air in my bedroom!"

Gadd: "It did what?!"

NP: "And every time I fall asleep I end up in Subcon!"

Gadd: "Is that an island paradise?"

NP: "No, it's the world of dreams...and I think Wart may be taking his revenge on this world!"

Gadd: "How so?"

NP: "Well, Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad thwarted his plans of conquest long ago. He plotted to imprison the Subcons...the fairy-folk of the land...and rule the land of dreams with an iron webbed-fist."

Gadd: "I'm familiar with the legend!"

NP: "Anyway, he's trapped in the dream world, unable to reach any other. I think he's built a machine that has enough power to open portals to other worlds and send threats to devastate them. Pop Star...Hyrule...Pokearth...the Distant Planet...even the Mushroom World...they're all in great danger. We have to find a way to stop him!"

Gadd: "...I'm sure they're just dreams. After all, it hasn't been proven that Subcon actually exists...it's like Koholint Island, which was formed from a dream of the Wind Fish..."

NP: "Aha! Gotcha!"

Gadd: "What?"

NP: "You know of Hyrule!"

Gadd: "Of course not! I get my legends from my good friend Prof. Kolorado over in Dry Dry Desert. He has a new apprentice named Ike who's helping him translate the frescos in an ancient ruin...they've made more progress in the past few days than they have in the past few years!"

NP: "Really?...I may have to examine these ruins myself..."

Gadd: "It appears that you were meant to go, NP. I just received two tickets to the ruins from a guy named 'Quizmo', but he specifically said that one of the tickets must go to a fiery-haired man in light blue clothing."

NP: "Then I leave first thing tomorrow."

Gadd: "But you must choose another Ranger to take with you. It's part of Quizmo's conditions."

NP: "Eep...that'll be a tough choice..."

Sorry I couldn't be here. I started my Christmas shopping this morning. Anyway, this minisode I typed is a precursor to tomorrow's episode, as I thought I'd open up into season 3 in advance so we can get on with it when it starts

Tomorrow, I choose another Ranger to take with me to the ruins...and we encounter 'Ike' when we arrive! Meanwhile, Gelato Beach is under attack by a monster, and the other Rangers must take it out! Also, StarFox finds his Yoshi Egg there - it's being tossed around by cataquacks!

Understood NP. Christmas shopping is very hard and strenuous.

NP: "Present!"

Role call time!

PG: "I picked it out just for you, NP. Happy Birthday!"

NP: "But it's still not my birthday, PunnyGuy...I'm afraid I can't open it till then."

PG: "Okay then...say NP...how long until your birthday?"

NP: "Give it eleven days "

PG: "...okay, that's a Wednesday...second Wednesday from today...I got it! Thanks NP "

NP: "No problem, PunnyGuy."

Later, aboard the plane to Dry Dry Desert...

NP: "...so it was a tough decision who to bring, but in the end I decided to bring another adult with me. I know XK really wanted to go, but it would've been too dangerous for him...and poor PunnyGuy found the thought of exploring an ancient ruin filled with Nintendology so exciting that he fainted. I'm just happy that I got to bring you, StarBoy "

StarBoy: "I'm glad to come along, NP. "
