NP: "Very well...I won't call you 'human'...but when I made contact with you before...I had a vision of an NLifer named Y-something being captured by Kammy Koopa and being corrupted...that has to be you. It just has to be."

A large flame appears over Brains's head and flies at the Rangers

The flame grows weak, and dispels

PG: "What did you just do, NP?"

NP: "Gadd found out about my hex. It's meant to interrupt access to my Power Coin. To make matters worse, the only way to dispel it is to transfer it to another human or else have the coin purified. Since the coin has already been purified, my only choice was...to transfer it to another Ranger. A human Ranger. The fact that I no longer have this curse and Ranger Grey does is evident that he is indeed a human, as I suspected."

The Brawn finally realises that humans are people, not fruit...and that they can still be squashed!

Brains: You... you said you were me. Correct?

Boy: Yes.

Brains: You are a human. You cannot be me... as I am not human. I don't know what you're doing here, but get out of my head or face my dangerous gas.

Boy: suppresses a laugh

Brains: What are you laughing at?! That's it! This is your last chance to leave my head at once!

The boy stands there, completely still.

Brains: ARGH! It's useless. Die, now! Kyōdaina honoo! Hai ni kare o moyase!

Boy: You can't use your powers here. Or anywhere.

Brains: What?!

Xkhaoz is still conflicted

NP: "But Ranger Grey isn't the human presence I feel."

PG: "Say what?"

NP: "The technology behind the Power Coin is incredible. Any signs of corruption disappear within a matter of time. It seems as though the corruption in Ranger Brown's coin is clearing faster than normal, indicating that his is a prototype coin. Once enough corruption had been dispelled, he had essentially reverted back to his normal self. It'll take one heroic act, one single moment of pure good, for his corruption to finally be gone from his coin."

Brains: How is that so? Why can I do nothing! Leave my sight! NOW!

Boy: Listen to me, agent of Bowser. You... have been corrupted by Bowser. That is what made you into the thing that you are. He fed me an elixir of sorts... and I became you. I've tried to escape for some time now, but to no avail. It wasn't until the cyan one placed the hex on you that I was able to even confront you.

Brains: No... You! If you really are me, then you'll find a way to remove this hex from me.
