Well, M&Ms are WAY better than American Smarties, so...yeah. I'm guessing European Smarties are from a different company than M&Ms, hence their coexistance. I dunno.

@bro2dragons: You're joking, right? Smarties have no discernable flavor, and what they DO have isn't particularly pleasent. M&M's, on the other hand, are full of chocolatey goodness; with the added bonus of options including peanuts, peanut butter, puffed rice, and more! So yeah...M&M's > Smarties.
