Am I the only one who never felt the need to hang knick-nacks on walls? Like...I just don't understand why you would do that, even...it's just a wall. You don't need to make it pretty.
Then again, I only just realized for the first time in years that I already have pictures and posters on my wall. I guess the moral of the story is that they're not nrecessary for me simply because once I'm used to their existance they cease to exist.
And before you ask, I didn't put them up there, I just don't want to take them down because I HATE CHANGE.
Anyways, I had a nice dinner today to celebrate my mother's birthday. I was stupid and bought a Blacked dish, so the entire thing tasted like raw peppercorn more than fish, but at least the wait staff was nice enough to give us a discount (not that we asked for one) just because I didn't eat much of it. And honestly, I would've eaten it if I didn't fill up on calamari, bread, coleslaw, and two full cups of pepsi beforehand...stupid 3 course meals. I didn't want to save it either, just because it was fish and would taste bad heated up.
At first I was a little upset with my University grades, but I realized that I kind of deserved them. I also found out that I am part of the majority - most first years like myself fall into my GPA range.
I am now enthusiastic for the future. My goal will be to do a lot better for next year!
Say what now?

I'm not really active here anymore. So it goes.
On the topic of wall decorating, if done correctly, it can create a certain vibe or ambience.
I was into dragons during middle school, so I had dragons everywhere statuettes, plushes, posters, etc.)! One of my favorites was a poster of a knight facing off against a dragon, that I displayed on the ceiling right above my bed, and it brought a smile to my face everytime I woke up.
In high school, those dragon posters were taken down in favor of bikini model posters.
Nowadays, I have a nice infusion of Japanese nicknacks & Club Nintendo decorations. I have a Japanese wall scroll hanging on the wall, with a maneki neko & CN calendar on my bedside table, Mario folding fans & decoative Japanese diningware on a shelf, and the Mario pin set on display on my dresser drawer (the bikini model posters are still up as well, but that's more to do with me not finding anything to replace them with. I probably should dig through my Nintendo Power collection, because I'm sure I have dozens of posters to choose from, lol).

Despite (surprisingly) getting a C in Calculus, the school I go to made their entrance requirements into the major a bit lenient. Hopefully, I don't have to re-take the math class. Just relieved to find out that I got a B in a couple of my CS classes. And this semester's finally over ;____;
(Hello again! My leave of absence has been temporarily repealed to make this post. But don't you worry: I'll be gone before you know it!)
I passed my Purple Belt test at Karate! I'll admit, for awhile I was nervous (especially after that last class I had... shiver), but I eventually (with the help of my teacher and sister that also takes Karate) got confident enough for my nails to be in tact by the end of the test.
Thing is, though, I think I was over-prepared 'cause I'd memorized all the english and japanese names of the moves in my curriculum and they never asked me! I can't say I'm not grateful 'cause I'd probably screw up if they asked. XD Whatever.
Unfortunately, my Karate School is practically affirmation city so there were a lot of times where a teacher would say "I'm proud of you, Billy." and I'd grit my teeth and say "Thank you, Sir." Ah well, I survived.

Catgirls are beautiful creatures that need to be respected and loved, especially by human males. Do everyone a favor and keep kitty girls alive.
I just discovered that I can play
on my laptop! I'm so happy! I can finally play this game the way it was meant to be played - on our old computer, it freezes up as soon as you get past the beginning cutscene, and on my Grandma's computer it ended up with weird technicolor stuff all over anything that was animated - it was a mess. But I've finally found a way to run it correctly and so I can finally play this game like I've always wanted to! Hooray!
...now if only all of my old PC games had such awesome support, haha!
I'm liking living in my old house again. before moving I was kinda sad for going back to the big city. but now I'm already enjoying it the only problem is the the internet connection doesn't reach my room so I have to use an USB cable to leave my desktop's wireless adapter on the corridor and leave my room to play online on my 3DS....
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

@GuardianKing: There are ways to replace the battery... I dunno how much it'd cost, though... 'cause you'll need a special screwdriver and a special battery...
Alot of things went right today. It is Christmas time after all. Everything looks beautiful, I made cookies and I just recieved some early gifts from my friend.
But the best part of today was when I looked into my e-mail and found that I'm a winner in Nintendo Minute's Sweepstakes!
As is Christmas eve tradition, I sat down with the family and watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation & The Polar Express, while eating sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, and crackers with cheese.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch the other specials I usually watch on CE (which I posted in the "Disappointment of the Day" thread"), but the night was still mostly great.
