I've only watched two anime and they're both done by Funimation. So them.

Funimation isn't an animation studio, they're a distributer/localizer.

^This lol. xD On-Topic both Ghibli Studios and Studio Bones are tied with 3 votes each! As I don't update my threads very often I'm going to leave the voting open until the end of October updating this thread a few times a week and if any of you are interested in creating a best of tournament with the most voted studios after the voting ends feel free to do so!

My favorite is Shaft, with KyoAni and Ufotable being a close second and third.

On the flip my least favorites are Madhouse, Ghibli, and P.A. Works.

Game(s) right now: Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon, World of Final Fantasy Maxima

Madhouse is very close. Out of 180(!!!) animated works, I've seen over 40 of them, and enjoyed more than half of those works. There are about 30 I'm interested in seeing, as well. That's over 1/3 all together.

Madhouse is usually pretty great, but I always forget they exist for whatever reason.

KyoAni is my favorite. I haven't see any of their productions before K-ON!, but I'm liking their work so far.

Well if you haven't seen their earlier stuff yet and like their later stuff, you are in for a treat...

because outside of 1 or 2 series, it's usually agreed that Kyoani's peak was before K-On!

I'd actualy argue Kyoto Animation found their niche post K-On. Whether or not its a niche worth acknowledging is another story, though.

I would agree that KyoAni found their niche after K-On, for better (Hyouko) or worse (Beyond the Boundary).

Studio Ghibli is the obvious (and my) answer but Production IG seem to have the most consistency in shows/movies I like.

Well I was talking about quality and 2 or 3 of my favorite anime are pre-K-On KyoAni

That's kinda what I meant. We have one or two members even here on this site who would easily say they had 2 or 3 favorite series post-K-On...I won't say who, though. Probably best they go unmentioned. <_<
