Memeboy3

One day, dear old Memeboy 3 made a SE vs. Atlus, It was almost an unfair fight because Atlus won with not alot of effort...It's like comparing a Plane to Godzilla.
So i decided to instead compare Two Nintendo Game Giants 2013 to fight!
Pokemon X/Y vs. FE:A!!!
So, if you played both...which was the best? In order to say it, you have to explain how one is better than the other, and explain how the other choicw failed to be better, May sound harsh, but it's easy to 'cast' your vote! Who is better?
Also, no fanwars plz! :3
Ready? 3,2,1...GO!!

Disregard my point as I've not played either but I'm almost completely certain if I did I would say I prefer Pokemon X/Y but respect Fire Emblem: Awakening more.

@kkslider5552000 Yeah. Your comment pretty much sums up the thread. I've played both and I still agree with what you said.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Awakening is my GOTY, so I'll have to go with that.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Pokémon wins for me because, like I've elaborated on many times, I cannot stand the footless people of FE:A... I cannot describe how much it irritates me... i never knew that feet were so important (to me) until I tried this game... once was more than enough... I just... I can't...

Pokemon X/Y without a doubt.

Pokemon is a series that I've really struggled to get into for quite some time (didn't really enjoy any of the DS games), but now I'm completely hooked on X and Y.
It's the most I've enjoyed a Pokemon game since I was really young.

Fire Emblem: Awakening however, for me, was a severe disappointment.
It's my least favourite Fire Emblem game I've ever played, to the point that I got bored with it towards the end of the story, stopped playing and didn't even care about finding out what happens.
A real shame because I was pretty excited for it after loving some previous games in the series.

FE games have a story?

What disappointed you about it though, if I may ask? As far as gameplay goes, it did everything that all of the other games did, plus had new features like Pair Up. It was like any other FE game, but with improved mechanics, more gameplay options, online multiplayer, Street Pass, etc, etc.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

They're both terrible games. Wouldn't recommend either. Much better games on other systems.

How is this comparable?

Anyway, Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I picked Fire Emblem: Awakening over Pokemon X/Y. To be fair, I didn't like the old Fire Emblem games until Fire Emblem Awakening due to casual mode. Also I play too much Pokemon that I actually got bored of playing Pokemon X/Y. It is all about breeding Pokemon now.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

I really enjoyed Fire Emblem Awakening. The issue is that the game has that same issue time after time, and that's that the game's hard to pick up after a long time of not playing. Pokemon's not like that. I'll go back into that game sooner or later.
Overall, I love the gameplay more in Fire Emblem than Pokemon, but Pokemon is much more addicting, so I would say Pokemon X and Y is better for me.
I also have more fun talking about Pokemon to others. I have plenty of friends that talk about Fire Emblem Awakening, but the conversation is so limited, in comparison to Pokemon X and Y.

Neither, A Link Between Worlds is better than Pokémon X/Y and Fire Emblem Awakening. I haven't been able to really get into Pokémon X/Y though I have around 23 hours invested, not even at second gym, and I never opened Fire Emblem Awakening despite getting it around release. With Awakening, I decided to gift it to my sister as I didn't see myself having much motivation for its experience. A Link Between Worlds though I beat in 4 consecutive days: Day 1 - 59 minutes, Day 2 - 4 hours 48 minutes, Day 3 - 5 hours 2 minutes and Day 4 - 5 hours 28 minutes. I saw the game to completion, the only 2013 game I completed beyond Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon (not a good year for games motivating me), and had my best initial experience of any game I've played. ALBW became my favorite Zelda game in the process as well with its open dungeon order and very solid, simplified gameplay. Overall, a very fun game in a year that wasn't too great to me in terms of games.

Can't stay into the FE games, dunno why...makes no sense since I love Advance Wars, lol. But yeah tried getting into them several times and I ended up never going back to the games.

...so yeah, I've discovered the game genre I highly dislike, and that is turn-based RPGs. They're too slow for me... I much prefer real-time fighting and action, and I also dislike the large amounts of menus and text, too... I like my games to be fast-paced, action-packed, and generally linear — the Mario & Luigi series bridges this gap for me, because even though it's turn-based, it's still all about hand-eye-coordination and timing, and I love it! ...Pokémon is similar, too — though it's not reflex based, it's still very flashy and action-oriented. ...I kinda liked the demo for Project X Zone for this reason, too.

...but after trying out a few turn-based RPGs, I've come to the conclusion that they're really not for me.
