EDIT: Nvm about Unfeznant v. Skarmory, just comparing movesets on Serebii makes Skarmory the obvious choice for me.
So, I have 6 badges and have recently encountered some Pokémon that could really improve my team, and I'm wondering if I should do so. Namely, I'm thinking about replacing my Fraxure with a Vibrava I picked up outside of Reversal Mountain. I also just captured Volcanrona, and since it's a Legendary, might as well see if it can work. For reference, here's my current team:
Emboar
Skarmory
Lucario
Magnezone ( Btw, If your Magneton hasn't evolved yet, be sure to go the the Move Re-Learner person at PWT if you want it to know Tri Attack. I know I would've liked that...)
Staryu
Fraxure

I have a Flygon and I can honestly say Vibrava was the toughest grind I've ever done with a Dragon and now that it's a Flygon, it doesn't look like it was worth it, like with Tyranitar, Gyarados, Hydreigon, etc.
Fraxure and Haxorus are really awesome and strong. With great attacks and buffs to go with it. Stay with that.
I don't see many flaws in your team other than 3 of them being steel type, but hey, they're the top tier in steels.

I feel like flygon was better in gen 3. . But I don't think it's possible to kill salamance!

@MikeDanger1: Flygon isn't really made to be a heavy brutal attacker, but can be a pretty darn challenging pokemon if it knows Outrage, Earthquake, Roost, and Fire punch, equiped with a choice band. I would also recommend making sure it has an adamant nature.
In all honesty I only have a Flygon on my team so my team would have a Pokemon that would learn Fly and not be a lame bird (I'm looking at you Pidove), it's not at all that bad, but compared to Salamence, Hydreigon, Haxorus, Garchomp, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross it's pretty inferior to them in almost every way. Still it looks pretty cool I guess, and it's still a Dragon, a Ground/Dragon at that.
