I'm betting on two-part Grey version, anyone want to take the offer?

The US Pokemon Site calls the game "Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2". It won't be a sequel or continuation of B/W's story, just a different version, just like the third game from every generation. I'm willing to bet there won't be a Grey version.

I'm putting my money on B/W sequel continuing the story.

Why wouldn't they just make grey instead of splitting it up like this? I really don't get it o_o And if that (split up grey version thing) is the case, then there are now four versions of a single game. Wow.

If these do end up being just slightly enhanced versions of Black and White rather than continuing with the story then that'll be quite disappointing.
Don't they make enough money from their Pokemon games as it is without having to split one game into four slightly different versions?

I'm not going to judge the game itself, it might be great. However, for this to be on the already-antiquated DS that will be even longer in the tooth when this game is released is truly a "LOLWUT" moment. Didn't even know they were still releasing games for the DS! Maybe Nintendo is trying to achieve PlayStation 2 longevity for it? Well, if Nintendo is paying attention to already-eclipsed systems, then I want more attention for the not-yet-eclipsed Wii (preferably in the form of moar Virtual Console!!!).

I honestly hope this will be more than just the third version formula twice. If it has a completely new game world, I'm sold, though. It's probably a fifth generation game, but if they would just make a new quest instead of remakes or slightly updated versions of Black and White, that would be great.

BTW, could it be possible that you fuse Kyurem with Zekrom or Reshiram?

I'm so confused. When are they just gonna admit they were planning on making it for 3DS and make a 3DS version?

One of the goals with gen 5 was to shake up the story and new pokémon, and a better story. This second version is most likely to help with the story.

They are probably going to make gen 6 on the 3ds and try to shake it up even further, like (hopefully) non-grid moving please!
I know I would love a story where you could visit all 5 regions, in any order you choose. And you could catch pokémon in their actual/original regions.

All games have "version" in the title, most people just never use it. So they should be seen as sequels, not new versions. That being said, they are likely comparable to previous third versions, perhaps with more focus on following up the story of the first games.

Hmm, I never considered that. I guess we'll just have to wait until new details.

If only Pokemon B/W saved to the system memory so B/W 2 could read that and give you only the main 6 Pokemon you had and start you off with that. Like Assasin's Creed 2. (or maybe it was brotherhood who does that?) That'd be really cool and an interesting take on the third version of a Pokemon game.

Well serebii confirmed these games as sequels so its enough for me. I hope we get more details soon :S
