Kyurem has a Black and White form... I don't see what's bad about the naming. What would you name their forms? Pokemon Black/White THE JOURNEY.Pokemon Darkness Black... and Whiteness White...
Pokemon Coalite and Monochrome. But those aren't colors. If you want to use colors... /shrug

Diamond also isn't a color, last I checked.

Wait, Articuno's Japanese name is Freezer. I'm sure Kyurem's forms will have much more creative names in English. If not, then well...what the heck. Like Mickeymac said. They can do better.

I don't understand why everyone hates the Mystery Dungeon games. I actually think they're better than the main games.

The gameplay mechanics of MD make me cringe, but Nintendo's storytelling abilities are legendary. Just look at Skyward Sword; they made a hunt for Zelda into one of the most moving and captivating tales ever. Now, if MD had the mechanics and field design of pokepark 2, then we could talk. (Pokepark 2's design and mechanics were great, but the plot was too bland and the action lacking.)

So after this has sunk in, I'm getting excited about a new Pokémon game. I did love B/W so a sequel should be fun, and it'll give me a good reason to use a tepig. I picked snivy on my JP Black and oshawott on my US White. Probably not importing this time, and I'll just get one of the two.

I have mixed feelings about this...The thing that annoys me the most is that it is on DS :/Is it not the time to move on? a pokemon game on 3DS would make the 3DS sales even better

This is annoying many people traded in their dsi's towards a 3ds so we now will have to play it with bars and lower quality the backward compatibilty is decent but not good enough to the extent I want to buy a full price ds game. And why do I want to pay £30 for a game on a last gen system when I should be playing a 3d(polygon and stereoscopic) next-gen pokemon game. And nintendo should have paid them money to make it 3ds exclusive thats what microsoft would do.Anyone here agree with me it should be 3ds- only and imagine streetpass and spotpass(notify you of events)

@koryz12 I believe that Pokemon should be on the 3DS, eventually, and it will. It's too soon for that though, they need to really take their time to develop it properly rather than just rushing it out the door. The DS has a massive base, and many people may not own a 3DS and can't afford to get one, so it's great for them if they continue to develop DS games too (which I believe they said that they would). If you don't want another DS Pokemon game, then don't buy it.A 3DS game is inevitable, but we just have to give it more time unless you'd rather just have a rushed game that's only slightly improved on the DS games with 3D tacked on.

Specific release date for Japan is June 2nd. Something tells me these games were in development practically directly after B/W were done. This is the fastest we've ever gotten this much info on a Nintendo game. Also, according to the NintendoLife article, these are ...wait what?Masuda said via Twitter these are two separate Pokemon, not new forms of Kyurem. Huh?

You know what bothers me? People who don't just complain, but troll about how this isn't on 3DS. Complaining is fine, but trolling isn't. Plus, the pokemon community already had this debate in 2005, when we wondered why Emerald was not put on the DS. Don't say that the DS was released later, but it was unveiled much sooner than Emerald and people complained and said why Gamefreak didn't just wait a little and release it on DS.
I don't see any "trolling."

Me either. I also never heard any complaining about Emerald. Everyone I know always loved it and didn't care it wasn't on DS.

I'm very excited for Pokemon Black & White 2. One, they seem like direct sequels to the main series game(s) that are my current favorites. Two, they are for the DS. I don't get the complaining about this being for the DS, unless there are poor souls that actually traded in their DS(es) for the 3DS. I also did not realize that the 3DS turned plenty into graphical whores, wanting to see a rushed main Pokemon game for the sake of Pokemon being in full 3D. Who would've thought so many wanted to see a game that would be terribly slow? To be honest, Game Freak is doing what I would like to see the rest of Nintendo do, treat the DS like the major success it is and the giant audience it has. Besides, Game Freak has something going with Black & White both in terms of design and story, so a continuation rather than taking a step back is what I would rather see.

One flaw... Team Plasma's gone for good, and I see no way to bring them back and give them as much of a role in the story as they did with Team Rocket in Gold/Silver

This was shocking. Anyway I will still pick one of them up when it comes out in either December or January.

Actually, I would like this. At least for B2W2. Tack on 3D, add some streetpass, spotpass, pedometer and AR functions and I'd be good to go. Heck, do this and a regular DS version and you'd make everyone happy.
Either way, I'm still getting it. I still have a practically like new DSi.

It will be the best thing ever if it's a full-on sequel, featuring both Unova and another, new region that's right next to it filled with both Unovan and new Pokémon that continues the storyline found in Black and White. So basically BW's answer to Gold and Silver and how they connected with Red and Blue.
It will be an utter disappointment if it's Grey Version split into two.
I am betting on something nicely wedged between those two extremes, personally. And I'm okay with that, honestly. That would make them the best "third version" ever, most probably.
