@Morphtroid - I know you can do that in Diamond, as I once tried gaining Starter Pokémon by playing through the intro until trading unlocked and then trading (but didn't because then I'd lose all my work that went into that file...). Can't tell you about anything past Diamond & Pearl, though, since I never tried that in Platinum, SS and I don't own Black or White...

If they gave us multiple save files, people would be less inclined to buy both versions. So it won't happen.

So it's more inclining to forcibly delete your whole team you've spent hours building up? People like me don't want that to happen, so we buy more games.
I mean, why not, Ash does it all the time expect for his potential Level 99 Pikachu.

only a week left until these games come out. I'm getting both of them as an early birthday present, and then taking my gift cards from my two sets of parents to put towards the Wii U. These will be the only games I'm getting until christmas.

I mean I know that the Pokemon numbers have been mixed up and that you can catch old generations from the start. But I heard that the Pokedex is huge...I dunno if they meant they'll have ALL of them or if there would still be a National.

I hope they made a easier way to transfer your pokemon.

And I also heard theres a added story for having the first pokemon B/W game, is that true?

For the first in almost five I can't afford a Pokemon game at launch. I think I will get this as soon as I have cash or for my birthday, which happens to be the five year anniversary since I got my first Pokemon game so it would have some symbolism. I also like the look of that expert mode for Black 2, I will defiantly be getting that version.

If I am not mistaken, Black and White didn't have preorder bonuses either.

There is still a National Dex, but the new Unova dex has around 300 Pokemon in it now. It was mentioned in one of the reviews I read earlier, I just don't remember which one.

No Pokemon Transfer apparently for B/W to B2/W2...which sucks because I have a lot of EV trained Pokemon and a bunch of Legendaries that I would like to keep for no reason and so I can point and laugh at people who don't have an Arceus. xD

@Ecto-1 GameStop actually gave a Keldeo poster for B/W 2.

I hate having to trade back and forth took me like a year to fully transfer all my pokemon from PokePlat to PokeSS, and I have alot of pokemons, mostly shines and EV&IV train pokes, and a bunch of extra legendaries. I want to point and laugh at people who don't have an "Shiny" Arceus.

But yeah...I mean this game is supposed to be a SEQUEL after all, so it would make sense to have a way to transfer Pokemon from your B/W game. :/

They're part of the same generation of games, you can simply trade them to BW2.

@LJM: Yes there's unlockable events, but you need 2 DS's to transfer some data from one game to another

Good thing I still have a workable DS Phat, even if the colors on it is all mess up.

Not what we meant though...we kinda don't want to have to catch ten bazillion Pokemon in B/W2, and then trade the same amount just to transfer our Pokemon over.
