Read through these, then tell me that Pokemon doesn't have in-depth gameplay.

Who said pokemon doesn't have in-depth play? People spend months studying and memorizing the mechanics of pokemon!

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

I'd say I love pokemon! I beat Black a couple of weeks ago, and i bought soulsilver. Im about 26 hours into the game and its pretty amazing. It almost feels like a brand new game since i havent played silver in years and years.

I have been playing since 2007, ironically the year I turned ten, and love it. I have 4 of the 5 generations, these are the Pokemon games I own, Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Blue, bought it on accident on Ebay, Pokemon Firered,Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon Yellow, got from a kid at my school, Pokemon Rumble, Pokemon Soulsilver, Pokemon Leafgreen, from my brother, and lastly Pokemon Black. Somewhere along the road I bought Ruby, but had to return it.

Look at my avatar if you don't want to read all of that

Way to put that at the end, after we've already read all of it. XD

I'm just going to copy-paste something I said in the Rate That Game thread.

A favorite thing for people to say is that D/P were awful. It wasn't the best pair, but it certainly wasn't awful. I'll even go so far as to say that they were fantastic games! Diamond and Pearl: separated physical attacks from special attacks, took a bunch of crap Pokemon from old generations and made them useful, outed some abilities and attacks that made battling more in-depth and complete, gave you a large (and useful) area to go to after you beat the elite four (without taking anything away from the region itself), etc...
To say that Diamond and Pearl sucked is like saying that Lindor Truffles suck because they don't taste as good as some Godiva Truffles you ate.
If you just play Pokemon to beat the elite four and catch monsters, then these aren't very special games. If you're a core player who pays great attention to game mechanics and battle strategies, then these games were great. They were a turning point in Pokemon battle history.

Once you get into EV training and competitive battling this game really takes on a new life(probably by stealing the players). I have yet to miss a generation, and the only game I have yet to get in the series is black. (and green, But I don't count that) I even own most of the spin-offs, All but the puzzel leuge for n64. ( I do have the one for the gameboy color) Pokemon is bar far my favorite series of anything. EVER. and all you haters have no idea what your missing. And now if you excuse me, Back to online random matchup.
