Is that bad? I imagine it'll get more or less the same level of enthusiasm than any other recent Sandler movie. Though I personally enjoy a lot of them for what they are.
Some random dude on Nintendo Life.
Toriel left for a while, so Freaky Fred took over her place!
Not changing this part of the signature until Nintendo announces Super Mario Sunshine 2.

I mean, I haven't wached a Sandler movie in years, but I'd always heard his older movies like Waterboy & Billy Madison were liked.
Whatever the case, I'll probably give this a shot eventually (even though it's almost an adaptation of a Futurama joke, where Fry asked the What If machine what life would be like if it were more like a video game, and the Earth got invaded by the planet "Nintendu 64", lol. That almost makes the movie more interesting, though).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Not sure how it's possible for anyone over the age of 14 to enjoy Adam Sandler or Kevin Smith's brand of comedy, so nothing of value was lost.
I never understand why people complain about Kevin Smith so much, he's an indie director with a small/cult fanbase so is very easily avoidable to the point that you actually have to look to find his stuff. It's not like he's Micheal Bay where every movie he makes is plastered everywhere or only works on popular characters/stories only to churn out a by the numbers formula like Tim Burton's make it spooky approach.
He has a "raunchy" and "for the children" switch, and it's hard to tell where this movie sits in that spectrum (although, the previews don't seem bad, so...... middle ground? PG?)
Does this matter at all? It's not like his raunchy movies are great and the kid's movies all terrible or vice-versa: They're all equally bad. So I honestly can't tell what you're getting at.

That was a mistake, I meant Kevin James, the guy playing in the movie. But yeah, Kevin Smith too. I don't really complain about him, as you say he's quite avoidable, but I find him extremely juvenile too. He's like an oafish, stoned Seth MacFarlene with 10x the penis jokes.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
