Can you make him go super saiyan if he gets a magic cookie (like invincible for a bit like a star for Mario) and make one of the bosses a flying kitten that shoots out exploding monkeys. Then this will be the best game ever.

@Rensch: Yeah, mostly because it looked so much like Cave Story. I'm still revising the art a little, but the new look is what I'm going for.

Funny you should post that. As I woke up this morning I had a strong urge to start playing Chrono Trigger again.

yeah, pixel, the game looks good... but i think you're hiding the Cave Story influence less and less with each iteration.

Why hide the influences of one of the greatest games of all time?

@Oddy: i wouldn't go that far, i don't think, though it is a good game. and no reason, I was just remarking on the fact that he had said he was redesigning it to make the influence less obvious.

Sorry I wasn't specifically referring to you when I made that comment; I pointed it out earlier and pix said he was working on it, though I don't think he has to. I'll leave my case for the quality of Cave Story itself at it's easily one of the very best games I've ever played and ever see myself playing.

Cave Story's very good. I don't think it's quite that great, though. But my biggest problem is the length, because all signs point to it being just about over. So tell me this, does it get longer? I've just taken the rocket up to where the doctor is supposed to be and cant get past the jumping red things that are everywhere. It seems like i go through this area, kill the doctor and it's over. Am I right?
