I see this debate everywhere in news articles because of the recent Shrek and Toy Story movies, but I would like to know what the people of Nintendo Life prefer when it comes to animated movies.

Personally, I prefer Pixar. There hasn't been one Pixar movie I didn't like, if not loved. Toy Story, Up, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Wall-E and all of Pixar's other movies introduced to me to some of the most memerable characters in film-making. That doesn't mean I don't like Dreamworks though, I love the Shrek and Madagasgar (most likely spelled wrong) movies, I just prefer Pixar more.

So who do you like more, and feel free to talk about your favorite movies from them two.

Dreamworks isn't "bad" they just aren't nearly as great as Pixar. Dreamworks movies range from "meh" to "ok" (with a few great ones every once in a while). Pixar however has created a TON of great movies! The only one which a lot of people seem to debate over is "Cars". (although, I for one really enjoyed it)

@Panda: The only reason I came into this thread was to post that.

Pixar is better, anyone who thinks otherwise should go sit in a corner.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Overall Pixar is better to me they only made one bad movie and that was Wall-e. I only like a few Dreamcast movies. The Shreks should have stopped at 2, 3 was alright but 4 didnt even seem to interest me. I liked Kung Fu Panda and Over the Hedge the best. Shark Tale to me was just a Finding Nemo wanabe IMO. And as for Bee movie I cant stand Jerry Seinfeld so I didnt even see that one.

Now are we talking just Dreamworks cgi movies or are we also include the normal animated movies?? Cause if we are I liked Road to El Dorado and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron alot. Plus they did a bunch of regular movies as well that I liked like The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan and Meet the Fockers and Lemony Snickets just to name a few.

Pixar, no question. I enjoyed the first two Shreks, and Madagascar and Over the Hedge were OK, but other than that nothing really stands out of Dreamworks Films, though I've never seen Kung Fu Panda or How to Train Your Dragon (I've heard those are both great). Pixar, on the other hand, has amazing movies like the Toy Story trilogy, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Up. WALL-E, Ratatouille, and Cars were all really good too, IMO, though the former two were lacking a bit in actual comedy, but they were also both fantastic movies overall. Never seen Pixar's other two movies.
@Panda I've seen that before (someone posted that in the old movies thread that no one seems to use anymore), but that's still hilarious.
