Topic: Parents need to do their jobs.

@TheCurator It doesn't help that I have seen companies and news programs actually advocating giving children a tablet so the parents can "get away" or "have some peace and quiet." In that regard, I would say it is fair to put some blame on the media/companies, but it still comes down to the parent making that decision.

I think some parents don't understand about reality in gaming world because of Negative Stigma. Adults who plays video games = childish. Because of that, some adults will stay away from video gaming world to avoid Negative stigma from peoples who Never knew about Video gaming world. They don't want peoples mocking at them, called them "childish".

Some of them are Too Naive, think that video games are just for kids, doesn't matter what is inside. Some of them says children will not remember everything from video gaming experience, they (the children) will forget after grow up. Some of them are just Follower because have no idea to socialize with other peoples. When there are some kids play rated M games, they (the parents) will consider that rated M games for their kids JUST BECAUSE they saw other peoples did that (They thought playing violence video games = Norm).

Oh, gosh....
Poor little kids to have lost their innocence at young age.
Some adult forced them (the kids) to become adult in hurry, just like i found in my country.

Parents who always do like that = Don't care with their kids.
They REFUSE to get involved into kids World, because they might think Kids World is Childish, Cheesy, Too Cool for adult to do. They FORCED their kids to understand their (the adults) world. Like, having a kid is not a Granted, but a Punishment.

@Anti-Matter That’s a bit extreme. For a lot of parents a tablet, or video games in general, is a toy. What do kids do? They play with toys. Just because a parent plops video games in front of there kids doesn’t mean they don’t care about there kids world. That doesn’t mean the parents aren’t responsible for what kind of video games there kid plays, that’s 100% up to them.

@Heavyarms55 Parents are indeed responsible but a lot of them are illiterate, hence they don't have the knowledge or mental capability to actually understand what's going on in their kids lives and digital activities.
