Half of the game -- the game spans 3 discs. I was on the middle of the second disc. Probably about 30 hours of playtime. I think I played enough to make an informed opinion.
And obviously if you're not a highschooler than my original comment doesn't apply to you, so yeah stop acting like I insulted you and move on dude.
I'm sorry that you have reading comprehension problems -- we all struggle with something -- but once again, I made it quite clear I never assumed you were talking to me, so I really have nothing to "move on" from, "dude." Also, I know what half of the game means. But you're the one who said one can't play half of FF7 and make a claim as to if it's overrated or not.

Yeah i just dont see the point to pay $15 a month for something thats almost like work, theres no real acomplishment because when the servers are shut down you notice how much time and money was wasted.
Gears of war is really overrated i dont see the hype for it.

All of the Resident Evil games up to number 4(which was freakin amazing). The controls in the old games were,for want of a better word ,sh*t. People say they were like that to make it more frightening, wrong, they were sh*t. Playing those games I wasn't scared ,I was angry. oh and the inventory/save system was crap as well.
"Anything Halo and Sonic CD.". Personally, I think Halo 3 is one of the best FPSs ever. Yes, better than goldeneye. I find alot of Nintendo fans dislike Halo. Is it fanboy-ism? Probably not, since I'm a nintendo fanboy. Although, I agree Sonic CD is massively over rated. I actually disliked CD a bit :
I'd say the games I find over rated are: GoldenEye-Definitely NOT the best FPS ever. Clunky controls make it very hard to play at times. Ocarina of Time-Inferior to Link to the Past and Wind Waker. Super Metroid-Bought it because of all the praise, beat it, thought it was very repetitive and far too short and easy. Super Mario Galaxy-Great game, but too easy, and just never really made me have the urge to play it again. Sonic CD-Just don't get the praise, and I'm a sonic fanboy. All the Resident Evil games except 4- RE0/1/2/3 had crappy controls, and it was hard to actually HIT a zombie with a bullet. RE4 was amazing, and RE5 was disappointing.
Also to the guy who said "And Goldeneye was overrated. I'll take the vastly superior Turok 2, thank you.". I love you. Turok 2 was bada$$, and far superior to GoldenEye. Though my favorite N64 game would have to be Conker's Bad Fur Day, though it's not an FPS.
This is just my opinion, don't go having any heart attacks now.
Also, I hate people who dislike a game or series because of something stupid like the story. If you care so much about the story of things, watch a damn movie!

You could argue it was as good as Goldeneye, and you'd be wrong, but sane. Arguing that it's 'vastly superior', you have to be crazy. Not my rules, the rules of God!
