@RetroGBHippie92 I kind of know what your going through, I lost a friend to the same cancer you have, my great aunt died of colon cancer, my grandfather died of lung cancer, and my mom had a smaller tumor, so I have a history of cancer. All I saying is " Life's hard, but learned to do the impossible." That was something my grandfather said before he died, oh and I'm adding you to my friend list ( I sent you an e-mail.)

I hope you get better, bro. As long as you're alive, staying alive is still a very real possibility. There's hope.
My grandpa has cancer at age 79. He has his ups and downs, which sounds alot like diabetes in regards with blood sugar, and other oily substances, so I think @Waveboy is in the right area(maybe not the marijuana part, but you can always make tea out of it which is more practical. Marijuana is legal where I live BTW).
The problem is sacrificing your enjoyable life to stay alive, which isn't always the funnest option. Keep in mind that staying healthy is a good thing to do whether you have cancer or not.
I think you'll be ok.

all cancers are different. there is no 'one size fits all' treatment.

waveboy is NOT in the right area. marijuana is mostly helpful for the nausea that may accompany chemo. cancer has nothing in common with diabetes. a 79 yr old with cancer is vastly different from a 20 yr old, even if the type of cancer is the same.

i am sure that @retrogbhippie92 is getting the best treatment available for his type of cancer. from medical professionals. we do have to be advocates for ourselves when it comes to dealing with doctors, but we also need to trust that they will do their best with available treatments.

this is one area i know much more about than i want to, gained from hard experience.

Wow I dont know what else to say that others haven't but I always admired your passion for Nintendo. I mean honestly you are the true meaning of a fanboy. You pull it off so well without all that negative stuff that people say fanboys do or say. I know I have commented a few times to some of your posts (at this time I dont remember which ones) but you were always a pleasure to talk with.

I hope you enjoy your time at Comic Con and in the states as well. I haven't been down in Southern California in about 5 years (I live in Northern Cali) so besides the normal Disneyland, Universal Studios and Legoland I am not sure what else there is down there to do.

I hope and pray that you will return to us and let us know how your trip went. May whatever higher power you believe in bless you and watch over you.

If you don't knoe Relay for Life is an event where we walk around a track and purchase items to raise money for cancer, the candle is tribute for those who lost to cancer and those who are still fighting. @SirFrancisBacon I appreciate the concern, but I'm not sure i want to do that, after all we don't really know each other well and maybe it's just best we keep things to this thread.
@everyone I have to agree with theblackdragon, none of you can really be real doctors and since my cancer is more specified and not a well known cancer disease, it's best we leave things to the experts.
If anyone has got anything good to say, then don't be afraid to speak up, unless it is of course it is unsolicited health advice, also didn't think people would just stop posting....

Sorry man, I just wanna warn you about Chicago/San Diego. Those cities are BIG and have major traffic, so be careful while driving. Once again, I hope you get cured.

i will be getting my copy of AC:NL the 25th. my grandson, danny, is so impressed that i will have a village in new zealand to visit. unless i am totally made nutz by the wait, lol.

I didn't know what to say about this, so I haven't posted here until now. But I really feel like I should post something, I'd feel guilty otherwise. So, although I don't think we've ever really interacted at all, I hope for the best.

I have read your posts and comments for a couple years now, and approve of your intelligence, unlike some others. Plus I love your pic. I wish you the best of luck.
