Hi, i am playing Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn once again and had some ideas for a Online game. I dont know how the new DS titles work, but ill share my ideas with you
if you want to play right away, you can choose from generic units (Axe warrior, Mage, Healer, Swordsman) and choose from 3 rooms: beginer, promoted, 3rd tier
If you want to play with your own game chracters, you had to finish the game and then load a Epilogue file to play in the 3rd tier room with whoever survived.
That would make singleplayer much more interesting and replayable, because you would really want to form up a Team and promote especific characters. And since the game has so many options, you you fight different oponnents every time.
The first DS game let's you take five characters from any point in the game online. Your idea wouldn't be that different since most people try to keep their best team alive anyway, meaning that the key difference is you can't use your team until you finish the game (which in Shadow Dragon's case would have meant I'd never use my team, since the end boss is crazy hard), but I might be overlooking something. I do hope they make another Wii game next and include online play. Shadow Dragon's multiplayer was so much fun. Would particularly be neat to have four-player.
