Topic: Old Franchises Nintendo Should Take Over?

Disclaimer: as much as I'd like Nintendo to explore new IP's, and as much as they seem to struggle with some of their own classics, let's allow our imaginations run free for a second...

What previously forgotten franchises would you like to see resurrected, into a new game, on a Nintendo platform?

How about:

Toe Jam and Earl (Sega)
Kid Chameleon (Sega)
Pocky and Rocky (Natsume)
Rampage (Activision)
Golden Axe (Sega)
TMNT Arcade (Konami)
Chuck Rock (Core Design)
Goemon (Konami)
Spy Hunter (Midway)
Rick Dangerous (Core Design)
Earthworm Jim (Shiny)
Castlevania (Konami)
Bomberman (Hudson)
Zoids (Tomy)
Wild Guns (Natsume)
Gradius (Konami)
UN Squadron (Capcom)
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Capcom)

(MODS: if this has had a sensible discussion recently, feel free to lock)

There's a new ToeJam and Earl game on the way already isn't there?

I miss playing Spyro. I enjoyed all of the GBA games and even the DS titles to an extent (though they really weren't very good).

Klonoa. That's one of those franchises that feels like it was just on the verge of being relevant, but it never had that game that pushed it over the edge. I think Nintendo has the talent to do the series justice.

Solar Striker - It's actually one of Nintendo's own (a vertical shmup on Game Boy), but I'd like to see them revive it nonetheless (though I suppose Star Fox is probably similar to how it would have evolved, had it stuck around).

I'll also second Klonoa. I've never played a Klonoa game in full, mind you, but I had one of those old Playstation demo discs with the demo for the first game, and I played it over & over.

Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

@Jimtaro: You do realize the TMNT Arcade games is not a Konami IP. Konami was just given the licensing for the game by Mirage Studios the former holders of the TMNT IP. Now it's a Nickelodeon IP, but it was never a Konami IP.

Well spotted, I was just going on who developed the arcade game and had a feeling (of dread) that it was a Nickelodeon asset now. Would still like to see a good TMNT arcade style game again though.
