So was this person an active shooter and planning on going on a shooting spree at a Pokemon event? What a sick, demented moron. Sadly, this doesn't surprise me. The Toys R Us in Times Square, NYC once had someone that threw a tear or smoke gas bomb inside. This is the world we live in.
Anyway what ticks me off the most is how non-gamers are going to react to this. They might say stuff like "SEE! GAMES CAUSE VIOLENCE! " Also the gun laws need to be fixed in America. They always say "We'll fix it!" and stuff like this, and other mass shootings occur. Make the laws like Germany.
But this is...hm. Bad to say the list. Non gamers are going to flip, negative press for Pokémon and Nintendo and America as a whole. At least they were caught prior.

I wasn't sure if I should believe that people could actually be that braindead, but then I remembered something similar happened already (namely, a poison bomb at a furry convention).
I won't even question their motives, as this strongly hints at mental issues of the more aggressive kind. I'd like to find out what caused this, but for now, we'll probably have to deal with the usual "games make killers" nonsense, freshly brought to us by countless experts who spout the most ridiculous nonsense - and many parents will blindly believe it, just so they have a scapegoat to blame for their own shortcomings.
@mariovslink62 America wouldn't be able to adapt to german arms laws, since the change would be too sudden. As unnecessary as it is to own an automatic assault rifle "for self-defense", that's how it is over there, and change has to come over time, not instantly. Suddenly prohibiting high-caliber firearms in the US would more likely cause a civil war than make people give up their "freedom".

It's going to be very difficult to enact tougher gun laws here because of the political climate. When you have a highly partisan government that constantly clashes with itself and gets nothing done, special interest groups like the NRA pressuring politicians to support gun rights and a constitutional amendment specifically allowing guns it can be very hard to enact that kind of change even in the face of a slew of mass shootings in the last few years. The American government is pretty broken nowadays.
Yeah...go ahead and say what you're going to do ahead of time! I'm sure it'll work out great! Anyways, thank God they were stopped. @mariovslink62 All I have to say about people who claim that videogames are a major cause of violence is this: Why the Hell aren't you saying the same thing about TV, books, movies, comics and art!?
There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...
