I'm having a hard time imagining D&D as fun when it's online, unless you do it by skype or something. But I've never tried anything other than locally with my friends so I wouldn't know.

I've done both locally, and the Google Wave thing, and tried and IRC game once too.

IRC games are no fun. Simple chat rooms are no fun - but the beauty of Google Wave is it's not just a simple chat room. File sharing is much easier and more robust, private conversations are easier to manage, and the whole thing works about as well as a MMO would, if MMO games were populated by proper roleplaying people.

I think I'd have trouble committing to being online at a regular time, unfortunately. I involve myself in too much already, so my schedule is always up in the air. The only day I am almost never busy is Sunday, but it's probably best to wait until we have three more players to sort out those details.

Misleading post makes no sense. Thread title is spot on.

Thread title is aptly named.
I also played Scrabble when I was little. Does Boggle count? Not sure it does.

I really liked a board game called Admirals from Parker Brothers, in the 80's. Anyone played it? It was cruel sometimes. Too bad they ceased producing it.
