I'll say that the winky and tongue smilies aren't bad. It's the actual smiles that are just horrible.

@aaronsullivan: No, they are all horrible. Maybe horrible is the wrong word, but they look like they belong on FB, not a gaming website. You made a big eyed and a little eyed smiley? One of them must be racist.

Fully agreed with this. I've been trying to post a lot more and be a much bigger part of this community in recent times, but I still feel like I'm out of the loop.

As for my favourite commenters, plenty of names come to mind, but I don't want to give a list since I will forget some fantastic people. Instead, I'll say that everyone is great and that the people here is what makes this community special.

I'm relatively new to the Nintendo scene and don't have the in depth knowledge of past generations, so i find NL a great place to come to learn.

I think the most fun I've had here has been in the live comments sections of the few live streams I've managed to attend - I'm thinking the Xenoblade Chronicles X streams in particular. The quick-wittedness of everyone is fantastic and just helps send the hype train into overdrive.

I see the joking about it, but I hope no one feels seriously discouraged in light of this thread. Just add to conversations you care about and be nice and helpful and you'll make connections. Also, read through this thread and take note: Do you get the gist of the age on some of us cranky folks? We can't remember people until after many many conversations. I mean, I may have been around when Nintendo first started making hanafuda cards.

I only just saw this thread, and I have notifications off for the forum so if I've been mentioned, and I doubt that I have, then sorry if I didn't acknowledge. @rjejr take note, it saves your email space and stops work disruptions, which is handy if you have software or games open a lot.

Lol @Tasuki does do that a lot, but in all fairness he must get bored over on pushsquare.

But you gotta love the dude, heck he's given me life advice. Oh and @Lzthequack is hilarious when he responds to users on the site, although I do miss being able to call him Darkwing Duck.

While I'm on it @Undead_terror is a great user whom I've played many a game with.

The last livestream I attended was E3 and that made me quit the internet for nearly a month after how awful a certain mechanized boo was, I tend to avoid the major ones now.

@Cyber-BLP--: @Darth_Vader: To be honest it does just come naturally and I am not joking either. You can look back through the years I have been here, heck you can even ask @theblackdragon how much I annoyed her I guess you can say. However, I think I have gotten better about it. I do apologize if I do get on your guys nerves.
