Yeah the bubbline is awesome! It's pretty easy to miss the first time around (I just happen to be a stickler for thoroughly exploring each area for items) but there's a few other weapons you can miss as well. Keep an eye out

Yeah I'm a total OCD completionist so I got it first run too, plus there's a hint in the instruction manual.

I'm at the balcony on Normal Mode, first time going for the best ending. I've beat the game before on Easy, just doing the "real" run.

@Dragoon Reading your CS review on your blog it seems like your opinion on it has really changed from the pixel art thread days when we argued whether it was an all-time great or not.

I don't remember those days. That was so long ago...

Just avoid the falling blocks. It's better to be hit by a Bute (angel) than a falling block. I'd say the best weapon would be your Polar Star Upgrade, but the Blade also works very well.

I'm finally out of the labyrinth on my "good ending" playthrough.

I'm starting to see a LOT of instances where the Snake is REALLY useful! =O

Don't know why everyone is using Snake?
Spur is better, it helped me beat Ballos in under 3mins, and unlocking The last two Theme songs for The Jukebox

@JumpMad: I just wanted to try a new weapon on my second playthrough, and to my knowledge the Snake came first in terms of when you could get it, so I couldn't resist. :3

@Odnetin - There is no fourth ending, just worst, normal and good ending.

Wow I'm doing horribly on this Normal run. I saved at a point in the sand zone right after you beat the boss, and my health is basically nothing so I can't make it to the next save point or a heart refill thing D:

There's technically a sort of "normal extra" ending if you don't give back the Mimiga mask, some of the end images are changed. But by not giving the Mimiga mask back, you don't get your booster back, so you can't do Sacred Grounds with the mask.

Alright, I'm a tad concerned at the moment...

So I drained Curly after I saved her, jumped over the guy, and blah blah blah. However, when I was offered to escape with Kazuma, I said "yes" (for the sake of seeing the "bad" ending).

After turning the game off and back on again, I started over, declined his offer, then climbed up to the plantation. However, upon going to the bed in the "lower right corner of the map," Curly wasn't there? D:

Did I make a mistake viewing the bad ending? I assumed that the game memory would reset after I had turned it off, so I could just keep going while viewing both endings...Was that the wrong choice? Do I have to start over...again???

I beat it and got the bad ending. It was actually quite touching. I'm planning on playing through it again, and eventually I'll get the better endings. (and I forgot to get Curly's undies, so I'll pick those up as well )

I'd say if you got the bad ending, you haven't truly beaten it then.

lol yeah. I'm not sure if I'm counting it as beat. I'm definitely gonna replay it again, very soon to get the other endings. (as my EDIT says)
