I can't read the first one, but the second appears to say "Seems like a plan." (I recognize "semble" as in semblance/resemble, which appears to have latin roots, making this a likely translation. "Plan" most likely translates directly, but I don't actually speak French--or so I think it is--so this is just a guess.)

@OdnetninAges it's a Merrie Melody (same as Looney Tunes) from 1936 called "I Love to Singa". I love the "enough is too much" line, it's very useful sometimes!
