"We can confirm that on Tuesday 18th November, a fire broke out in the warehouse owned by RepairTech, the company that Nintendo UK uses to fulfil its customer repairs," a Nintendo spokesperson told MCV.
Apparently some items have been effected.
Apparently they are giving you a new system and E-shop credit if your items were affected.
Good to read in the article that noone was injured and a real unlucky event for those having a console in repair and without further informations it's impossible to tell if this was an accident, neglicence or whatever (hoping it wasn't a fire intentionally started by some idiot...), but cool to see that despite the incident Nintendo immediatly thought about the consumers, that's definitly a serious company's attitude.
Still, not won't to sound offensive, but this is really really ironic...
Will they have to send the repair center to a "repair repair center" now? >W>;;;
