well, it happened. the amount of topics in the General Discussion category has outnumbered the topics in the Wii category. and replies wise, its up by 30,000. will nintendolife soon become more of a gaming myspace than an actual game website?

I completely disagree. People just want to talk about random stuff when they finish reading the Gaming news. and think about it, a number of topics in the GD are about games.

As a high-up member of this fine cult... establishment, I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to get involved in our community. We on the site staff take a great deal of pride in creating interesting news and reviews for you to read, but you all truly make Nintendo Life what it is.
Forums should be communities, but I disagree the site is more network-focused than game-led – look at the thousands of comments we receive on our news and reviews every week. Every single Nintendo site I visit (and that's quite a lot) would kill to get a readership like ours, so I say keep doing what you're doing and enjoy yourselves.

This site IS the best nintendo site and has the best community!
Life in the site name kinda says it al really, even in the other gaming thread, we all have a common groumd, we all are nintendo fans. That is what makes this site great and different from the rest. That's the reason I come here, and also why I try to decrease the console bashing here. We at NL have ps3 and 360 that actually get along and are all fans of nintendo. You don't find that anywhere but here.
Another thing I've noticed is we really have all types of ninty fans too. Some are just retro, some new age and some love it All. Makes for great discussions from all angles.

All my News and Reviews in One convenient place!
I found the sites whilst looking for WiiWare and VC reviews and that's the main reason I'm still here, no-one else on the web does such a good job of it. The forums are just a bonus and as with everything else on the web, some people love it, some people hate it. I'll get bored of the forums long before I get bored of all the awesome content and reviews on this site.
Well from what I've seen NintendoLife has been providing more gaming news than ever in the last few months. If you feel drawn more to the forums than the main page and stories that is more of a personal thing the site's issue.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
