Attention everyone with any Avtivision related games junk them now do not use them damage can occur if you use Activision related games
ie - I purchased a Nintendo /Activision Bass Fishing game my 10 yr old daughter started playing the game and the fishing rod came off and smashed the screen on our $1000.00 55" flat screen TV this was last year.
I emailed called Nintendo .Activision related the problem and Activision assured me this would be taken care of imediantly this was Sept/November roughly I just heard back there final results of course after they had me ship them the broken rod for there examination and found nothing wrong imagine that I have no proof now they have the evidence and Im guessing its long melted down and they are telling me its my fault! Imagine that there up a game sale Im out the cost of the game a brand new TV and the replacement cost of another TV so my advice is do not buy anything Activision related, return what you have and burn it throw it out do not buy any more. Its just not worth the agravation folks do yourself the faver and go outside and play in the fresh air.

Didn't you use the wrist strap that's included on the Wiimote?

Yeah honestly I dont see Nintendo or Activision replacing anything. Several places you are warned to use the wrist strap, even in the game. That right there protects them from any kind of liability.

Had nothing to do with the wrist strap which my daughter was wearing at the time it was the rod end of a fishing reel and rod that let go , the rod has a weighted rubber end she was 12 ft from the tv she made several casts at which point the rod let go and boom im out big time and activision says to bad , If there going to sell crap then they should pay for damages caused by there shotty workmanship of course there big business and we are the little guy piss on us they have money and with that they get what they want if your dumb enough to finance there efforts.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well unfortunately I did a quick google search and I haven't found any articles where the rod is defective. That sucks about your tv and I would be mad too if it happened to me but without any proof there is probably nothing that can be done. The only thing I can suggest is maybe talk to a lawyer about this.

Again they covered there collective rearends and had me ship them the evidence , THERE LEGAL TEAM DID THE EXAMINATION.
since when does a bunch of pencil pushers do anything but make everything come up looking rosey for there current company.
Angry don't cover how I feel right now believe me , I took them at there word and I was screwed over so once again the little guy looses and they get that much fatter. Ive kept all correspondence and will be turning it over to sun media to warn the general public and gameing community they are not to be trusted and should stop all buying of there products . The millions of dollars this company rakes in over Christmas is huge compared to the costs ive had to endure because of 1 product they sell that is defective and are unwilling to stand behind and given the way its made I see why don't you .

Well again I am sorry for your problems but I honestly found anyone else with the problem that you had. I am not trying to sound rude but could it have been that you didn't hook it together correctly (I am not sure how it hooks up like if it works with the Wiimote or snaps together or what)? I know that Nintendolife did a review on that game and they didn't have any problems at least none that they said in the review. I have googled to see if the fishing rod was defective but as I said I found nothing. I honestly dont see them as covering anything up. Sorry to say though that even with your warning people will still by their products.

It only goes together 1 way , ive done contracting for many years and I currently work as a press setter so I know how to assemble pretty much anything .
As far as people keeping buying there crap then there stupid and if Nintendo wants to keep a relationship with activision when they screw over the general public and those same people buy there gameing systems ( by the way I have to issue with Nintendo yet they have said they would contact me about this but as said have not ive also contacted Rapala who also has there name on this crap your talking multi million dollar companys here. If you want to buy this crap its up to you buy don't say you where not warned if 1 things defective there others out there its a matter of time and im going to make as much noise about this as I can it cost me big dollars and im returning the faver and will continue to do so until I get satisfaction . im 1 person but the webs a big place and everyones on it the word will get out .
