Topic: Nintendo Switch Lite Comfort Level

I have heard that the Switch Lite is much more comfortable in handheld than the original switch. I was able to get my hands on one for about an hour and my hands were not digging it. In addition, I couldn't even reach the D-Pad. My hands are probably a little on the large for a guy. Wanted to ask if this "comfortability" is just for people with small hands?

Nope. I have fairly large hands (I guess not grotesquely large), and find the Switch Lite to be much more comfortable in handheld mode, both due to its lighter feel and the smaller size.

I'm curious about you not being able to reach the D-Pad. How does that even work? The layout is the same as it is on an OG Switch. Unless you have some sort of severe deformity or muscular issue that prohibits movement of the left thumb, it shouldn't be possible to not be able to reach the D-Pad, which is, like, an inch or less below the left control stick.

@Ralizah I can reach it, it's just no where near comfortable. I ended up getting the daemon ex machina joy cons that improved my comfort levels considerably. I know some people really like the HD rumble, gyro, and NFC but I was okay with that since the only game I play with gyro is splatoon and I only play that docked.

But just letting you know I had a hard time playing on the dpad on the OG switch too. Tbh I really don't like the joycons to begin with either. I was just curious to see how the switch lite helped with comfort, but I didn't take weight into consideration.
