When I go to arcades, I find an odd lack of Nintendo games. It's been quite awhile since they've made an arcade game. Namco's been making them, Capcom's been making them, SEGA's been making them, etc. The most recent Nintendo arcade games were Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 & 2. Which, by the way, were co-developed by Namco...

I think Kid Icarus: Uprising could be made into an awesome arcade game (I've actually thought of a few designs for one)!

How 'bout all you? Do you think Nintendo should make a new arcade game (or games)? And what sort of a game should it be?

Why? Arcades are pretty much dead everywhere besides Japan, so why would Nintendo waste their time on something that they wont make much money on?

Also, Consoles/PC > Arcades IMO.

Or maybe Nintendo should just release all their previous arcade games onto the Wii U and make money on them.

Rather have Nintendo do this instead also.

I'm not sure where arcades are dead... there's at least five within 10 miles of where I live; even more if I count even further distances. Heck, they even make touchscreen arcade games now (such as Fruit Ninja). At least where I live, arcades are alive and well.

There are a few arcades where I live too, but they're just relics of the past now. It'd just be a waste on money.

Avian fact of the week: The Moa, an extinct relative of ostrichs and emus that inhabited New Zealand, was the tallest bird that ever lived at 12 ft tall (3.6 m). It was also the only known bird to have no wing structure.

Arcades are still alive in Japan and California but they're dead everywhere else.

Smash Bros. would be a natural fit, and all kinds of awesome... even if not financially awesome.
