What?! This can't be true. Is that a credible site? This seems really hard to believe, I didn't hear anything about him being in poor health before...If this is true then that's horrible...
This news actually makes my heart feel heavy. Despite ups and downs, he was a very passionate leader who strongly believed in the core values of Nintendo as a brand. Nobody else in his position would think to do a ____ Direct or an ____ Asks. This is a loss not only for Nintendo, but the whole industry.
Rest in peace.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
damn, so it is true. This is so sudden that I can barely handle this. And to think that his last major appearance was in an E3 that most people ripped to shreds. I'm really sad to see him go, and I know the next Direct is going to be hard to watch knowing that Mr. Iwata won't be a part of them anymore. May he rest in peace, and may Nintendo recover from this sudden and deep loss.
Right....well. Im going to ignore all the moaning about the guy and say this.
He was dedicated. He turned stuff around no matter what. Not sure how this affects anything but at this time it doesn't matter. He deserves the respect for pushing Nintendo to innovate and re-invent. May he rest in peace.
Now Playing: Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Crash Bandicoot 4
That is sad. I knew he had health issues...but this is shocking nonetheless. May your legacy be in good hands, Iwata-san, and may your soul rest in peace...
What?! No, no way. I don't know what to say. I'm speechless. There's no way. I thought this thread was just some sick joke.
Rest in peace, Iwata. I wish I had more words. This is too sudden.
