Topic: Nintendo of America Rant!

I've been extreamly dissapointed with NOA as of late. I hate how they have been showing us products like the GCN Adapter, Amiibo, and even the special edition of Majora's Mask like anyone can buy them casually. THEY ARE ALL SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE! I mean how hard is it to create more stock! It's not like they're not selling well enough for them to be discontinued. Everytime I go to WalMart or BestBuy, all the Amiibo I see are like a bunch of Princess Peach figures. Not that there is anything wrong with Peach, but people want a variety of characters to choose from. The figuines are very cheap to make, it's basically just plastic! They're selling pieces of plastic for $12.99 each and it probably cost them less than $0.25 to make. They are simple and easy to reproduce in large quantity, so why are they discontinuing the most popular ones. Again with the GCN Adapter, a majority of it is just plastic! Why is it so hard to restock!? They have plenty of GCN Controllers which are useless without the adapter! Wouldn't it have been wiser to make sure you have enough adapters so you can actually use the controller!? Also, the fact that there isn't a "New" regular 3DS in certain regions make me upset! I was planning to buy one over the XL due to the fact that it's smaller, more portable and cheaper, but nope you have to buy the huge expensive XL if you want the extra processing power.

To end it off I want to talk about how NOA's Club Nintendo is horribly nowadays. There is just about no physical rewards, and a majority of their downloadable game are terrible as of late.

Don't get me wrong, I still love Nintendo. However, their business discision they have been make lately are terrible for fans and themselves as they're loosing a bunch of money from these discisions.

the amiibo might be priced like that due to....making the 25 cent plastic figure, producing the what $2 nfc chip, marketing which can range. you should think about these things just saying(not saying your wrong or right just saying)

they are discontinuing the unpopular ones, in our eyes marth might be the most wanted figures but the majority of people that might be buying these figures are parents who doesnt know the difference between mario and wario

No ones forcing you to buy the new 3DS XL but you have a point

GCN Adapter is annoying me too but the thing is i think they underestimated the damand for it

Well, since you state everything about Nintendo's mass production methods and strageties, I guess we can just chalk it up to "because they're dumb" or something. I mean, I could run Nintendo better than this, and I'm still a high schooler who knows nothing about the inner workings of large businesses!

Now to break the sarcasm: obviously these things are selling very well, contrary to your assumption otherwise. Amiibos were a top seller this holiday, and top the pre-order charts-- a GameStop employee said people are going nuts for the things, or at least at my local branch.
There's probably some reason Nintendo isn't pumping these out (probably from the fact they don't own a manufacturing plant), and it's safe to assume it isn't becuase they don't want your money.

Anyways, pretty good rant. Nice amounts of anger. I'm just confused as to how Nintendo being able to loose up money is treated as a bad thing in this context? Oh well.
