I am a little unclear on how to connect my nes to my tv, it came with antenna like cable? I guess I need a adaptor to audio and video components but what is the adaptor called ?

Just buy a cheap composite cable from ebay or amazon

I don't know about the US, but in Europe, it did in fact come with an antenna cable, and you have to plug it exactly where you would the normal antenna cable. There is even usually a slot on it where you can plug your normal one so you can still watch TV.

Then turn the system on and use the TV's search function to search for channels, and it will eventually find the NES. Then you have to assign it for a channel of your liking (or the TV does this by itself), and you can use the system that way.

you could use the coaxial cable but if you want a more clear look to it, you can by the composite cables for it.. Real Cheap!
