Hello, fellow NLers! Here is a new thread I've come up with, a story thread like the NL power rangers. This is the League of Mythical Beasts, a league of legendary creatures that has 2 sides: the Raging Rebels and the Sun Soldiers. The Raging Rebels are fugitive warriors from the empire (for reasons later explained), and the Sun Soldiers are the soldiers from the empire who are trying to hunt them down. Their world is in a small cloud that floats nowhere in particular above the Earth; a whole empire that normal humans would see as just another cloud. Sorta like the tents in Harry Potter. . We need a leader for each group, the other members (and you can come up with something to be, like the righthand man of the leader or something), and once all the currently needed spots are filled, our story will begin. When you pick your name, choose a mythical beast and try to use an adjective that uses alliteration, (for example, Black Bear, Red Ranger, etc.) which side you'll join, and then, again, we'll fill up the spots. Ooh, also, we can have special avis! There will be 9 spots to start out on each side. Let's begin.
I shall be Grand Griffin, the leader of the Raging Rebels. (italics=leader) Remember, no non-mythical beasts like Pie or Owl! (after Xk anyways)
Raging Rebels:Grand Griffin, Obtuse Owl, Undead Unicorn-Beaver, Sun Soldiers:Olympic Owl, Golden Phoenix,
Meh, I'll join I guess.I'll have a character on each side, if that's alright. I'll be the leader of the Sun Soldiers, Olympic Owl. He has a brother on the opposing team, Obtuse Owl. I'll explain their them later.
Ok, let's not continue this anymore, please. He just didn't want to be anything else, and I'm not gonna command him to rethink or leave. Case closed, moving on.
A unicorn is certainly mythical, and I don't see how combining it with a beaver would make it any less. I do see how all of these rules could push potential members away though.
