Welcome mrlimbo, you're in the league I see you. Thanks everybody we're up to 10 now. This weekend the fun begins!!!

• You can change your formation by replacing a striker with a midfielder, or a midfielder for a defender, etc...
• One transfer per gameweek, if you would like or need to do more, it will cost you 4 points (per additional transfer) from that weeks total. Until the 15th August though, you can make as many changes as you want.
• The transfer wildcard can be used once per season, this waves all point costs for one gameweek, so you can completely re-think your team, but without losing any points. Save it though, till you really need it.
• Players who don't play will be replaced by subs automatically, choose the priority of subs carefully.
• Your captain will earn you double points, pick someone you think will have a good game that week.
• Plan ahead! Check upcoming gameweeks, as sometimes teams either won't play at all, or may play twice. The fixture list is always changing and you don't want to get caught out.
• A player scores points for appearances, goals, assists, clean sheets (only midfield and defence) & bonus points are dished out according to Opta stats.
• A player loses points for conceding goals and receiving yellow and red cards. Doh!

Another rule I have found...

If someone plays really bad for four weeks, prompting you to replace them, the following week they will score 2 goals and really annoy you.

Here is my nearly finalised team, a few changes may need to made, especially with my main man Gerrard suffering a groin injury

Gerrard might be ok for the weekend, this always happens around international friendly time, still can't believe they scheduled this 3 days before the season begins. I'm just praying Rooney doesn't get injured. Nice team btw.

I'd just like to say before the Premier League starts that I think Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man city drool, while Man Utd rule. Might seem immature but it had to be said.

OK so i have swapped Gerrard for Lampard as it is still up in the air as to whether Stevie G will be fit for the weekend, i will be upset if he is and scores 3 goals, apart from that i am set.

Right Im in the midst of a giant hazy cloud,probably contributed ,in no small part to ,the super strentgth **** I have been inhalin all night,listenen to some quite strange tunes,on headphones which always increases the strangeness factor somewhat err......So anyway in this enlightened state I've been tinkering and this is now my final team (till I wake in the morning and think !!) Yeah I knew that , thanks though Does it not make the substitutions automatically for you if a player is injured? I thought it would, if not then I'm gonna have to keep a closer eye on this managerial malarky than I first thought
