@SUPERZELDAMAN: This Wednesday night, some teams will play and hopefully some of your players will do well and get points accordingly. That's it! Your team's pretty good, so just keep an eye on the Premier League action and cross those fingers. It'll all be a lot clearer on Wednesday night I promise.

I have 3 players that are not playing this week after making my 1 free transfer, do you think it would be a good idea to sacrifice some points to make some extra transfers in the hope the players i bring in earn more than the 4 points i would lose in getting them??

It's a tough call to be honest. IF the player you bring in gets more than the 4 points it costs for extra transfer, then yes, it's a good idea. But, they could fail horribly and you've just changed your team to no avail AND it cost you points.

Maybe bring an extra one in, but don't go crazy just to get 11 men out, you may regret it. And don't forget those not playing this gameweek, will play twice in a future gameweek, so it does all even out eventually. Hope that helps.

@Stevie If your happy with your team I'd leave it for now,the season has only just started and like Machu said the players that miss this week will catch up later anyway.Although not taking my own advice I may make one change for the 2nd week it's a gamble though init? Nice to see a couple more have joined up looking like a good league now. One of these random teams better not win it though after the agonizing decision's Ive been (still am) making Footballs back HOORAH !!!!!!

Ok so i have took Machu's advice and paid 4 points (which puts me at the bottom of the league for now) to bring Modric in for Cahill, i hope it pays off, so now i will have 2 players in my team not playing for gameweek 2.

Your star players are most likely to be Drogba and Gerrard (so probably make one of those 2 captain) but the rest are all a pretty decent mix of talent as well!
