Nice one Machu. When do I have to enter by? Not sure I'll have the time this week plus I need to have a think about my team!!!
Is there any prizes on offer?

You've got until 11:30 BST on the 15th August to get your team finalized so no rush. You can tinker to your hearts content up until that deadline, which is good, try out different teams see what you can afford with the money. You'll need a captain (he gets double points), and a few subs just in case. The only prizes I can offer at the moment are bragging rights and kudos, I'll have a think about physical incentives though I'm pretty sure that's frowned upon (?).

Owens relatively cheap, might get him as well as Rooney, erm...

Well I checked and if you win the whole damn thing (not just the Nintendo Life League) these are the goodies...

1st Prize
The overall winner of Fantasy Premier League 2009/10 will win a VIP trip for two to a Barclays Premier League match (the identity of which is determined by The Premier League) featuring a team of the successful player's choice. The Winner’s Prize includes travel, two nights' hotel accommodation, two match tickets, pre-match meal and £250 spending money.
Monthly Prize
This season the person who finishes top of the monthly leaderboard will be declared Manager of the Month and will win a digital camera, an mp3 player, and a Premier League club replica kit of the Winner’s choice.

I've only ever done it for fun and rivalry between friends, but I might knuckle down this year and aim for that monthly prize, mmm.

You can count me in for this, probably won't have time to assemble a team until the weekend. I will be happy with just bragging rights for the Nintendo life league, you will have to excuse me because i haven't had chance to check yet but is it only Premiership players that you can choose or does it include other league's, if so i have a few hot prospects from my home club Doncaster Rovers that I would have a punt on.

Glad to have some competition guys, we've got 2 n' a bit weeks to find the perfect 11, then the real fun starts.

I notice we've only got UK at the moment, but non-UK can enter too so don't let that hold you back. Under 18's can enter also.

Right I've joined up though I still need to do some tinkering with my team. I see machu and cow launch on there.Anyone else gonna join in? Nice Kit Machu it's similar to mine no guessin who we support heh? @Cow Launch your kit is very,......errrr...how can i put it ...a bit on the vivid side for my tastes but pretty damn cool all the same. So can we see each others teams once the season has started or are you gonna disclose them on here beforehand . Good Luck guys, can't wait for the season to start now. COME ON!!!!

There doing a Fantasy Football as well with a £50000 first prize as well as monthly cash prizes and it's free to play.I'm gonna have a go on that one too check out the website if your intrested.

@Luigi78: Every year I have a no-scum rule (as it's horrible taking pleasure in a rivals success), but usually give up on that when I start doing bad. I've got my eye on Arshavin, but can't bring myself to do it. I doubt I'll keep all 3 Utd boys up front, just don't know who Sir Alex will start with, so hedging my bets.

I tried juggling three fantasy teams last year, and ergh, it didn't go well. I'm just in for the fun me (and hurling abuse at my league-mates).

I'll post a brief rundown of rules and tips closer to the time, save you having to read ALL the rules or learning the hard way.

Come on guys, we're dying a death here. I've never seen a league with only four teams in it, I was really hoping for ten, to make it interesting. Anyone who has a passing interest in football/soccer, it'd be great if you could join in, try and stop Machu from winning. And staff members, any of you lot fancy some friendly competition? Prosody , Dazza Anyone.

Some guy told me in a dream "if you build it, they will come", next time I see him I'm gonna have words!

@nintendoduffin: Yeah it's great you can change it all, right up to the last moment. I'm keeping a eye on transfers and injuries, and trying to research some of the teams that have just been promoted. There's gotta be some cheap goals there, but is it worth the risk. Oooh.
