While I was playing Mario Kart 8 I thought of an idea that Nintendo could try. Why don't they make a game called Nintendo Kart? I mean they added link into the mix in Mario Kart 8, so it could be possible. Each character could have their own special item, for example Fox could using his arwing and it would be similar to the bullet bill. Also it could create many stages like a metroid stage, idk just using examples lol. What you guys think? also new items would be fun from other games.
I actually think that's been a relatively common idea. I've noticed plenty of people wanting the same thing. It's a great idea that could even use the amiibo to expand the game content. I know people hate on disc DLC but adding even more themed levels through the Smash line of amiibo would make so much sense.

Yeah, I just picked up sonic and all stars racing transformed, (yes, I know I'm extremely late to the party with that one), and I thought, wouldn't it be so awesome I f Nintendo did a kart racing game like this? So yes I'm rather fond of the idea.

Mario Kart is fantastic, but one has to wonder how long its success can be sustained when there's been little change in gameplay since the original. Each character should get their own kart-customizations that make them specific to them. By all means keep the items system that's always been there, but give karts, or the drivers sitting in them, built-in features too e.g. have Bayonetta able to fire from her ankle pistols, not so that it takes the opposition out completely, but does slow them down or interfere in some way.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

The reason Mario Kart can carry on so well is is because it isn't milked more than one version per console, if it was a yearly release it'd kill off interest by now.
I would absolutely love this kind of game, but I think Link and Isabelle were more a temporary expanding of the Mario universe than the beginning of something bigger. Still. We'll see how this goes.
