Topic: Nintendo Black

I have heard Reggie and Iwata are holding new console information at a ransom of 45,000 Wii sales in the USA. Has anyone heard any rumors? The creator of Other M also said it would leave you in awe. This is also a good place to discuss year of release, possible features, post concept designs, or anything else about the Nintendo Black.

The Nintendo Black is the development codename of the console. Just like the Wii was the Revolution.

that said, NL covered the 45 million rumor a while back, which is probably what you're thinking of with that number.

The creator of Other M said he was sure Nintendo's next console will leave everyone in awe. Pretty much the equivalent of me saying, "I'm sure The Land Before Time XXXCVII will be even better than the previous ones in the series." He knows no better than you do, and if he does, he hasn't said anything to make me believe it. Thus far here's the hard specs of what we know. Be prepared, as some of these might be a little too technical for some of you to understand.

Crazy I know! I can't wait! This technology is already lightyears away from anything Sony or Microsoft could have planned. After reading through all these specs, I've already lost interest in the Wii, DS, and 3DS... this is going to change my life forever!

In all seriousness, though, I'm sure it will be great as always, but we truthfully know nothing.

@bro2dragons You're probably right on that one. However, there is a chance that you find out about these things when you work so closely with people like Miyamoto.

Haha, it is possible. Miyamoto does have quite the mouth. Still, I don't think we know that the two are buddy-buddy, and everyone else at Nintendo seems to know when to keep their mouth shut. And Miyamoto didn't have a terribly strong hand in Other M. In fact, I would imagine he had pretty little to do with it besides maybe checking it out when curiosity struck him. But, you may be right. I just don't think we know enough to say anything at this point. Give it 6-8 months, and see what happens. My bet is we'll have some sort of "leak" or officially released cryptic hints to make conjectures over.

I need a source for this apparent codename, and now!
