Topic: Ninja Baseball Batman THE COMIC SERIES!!

So apparently Drew Maniscalco started a Kickstarter to turn Ninja Baseball Batman into a comic series. I somehow missed this and, thankfully, it was still successfully funded. Now under the name of Ninja Baseball Man. (I will forever call it Batman.)

Some of you are probably wondering what the heck this is right now. Well kiddies NBBM was an arcade game released by Irem. It was a side scrolling beat'em up that was ridiculously over the top with it's baseball theme. It came to America in very limited quantities so it never became big thus leaving it with a cult following. AVGN did a video on it if you want to know more.
A new game in the form with an App is also being made.
So.
This is kind of amazing.
I'm amazed to see them trying this hard for a revival of this game. Do I think it'll match the original game, or for that matter the hype few people have for it? No. It's great to see NBBM is still alive, however, and who knows, maybe this could all bring the original game to modern consoles some day.

Meh, the art style is pretty bad. He should've used Kickstarter to raise the required money for all necessary licenses to port the game instead. Oh well, someday.

Time to get AVGN to look at it. *seriously though, i want to play the game and buy a digital copy legitamitly, but the only way to play it is.......a grey area to say the very least....

I was going to say that the art isn't that great. I know most comics start out looking bad, but people usually don't pay money for them until they get good...would it have been fine if he made the comic without the license, so long as no one paid money for it and he gave proper links & credits? He could've done a fundraiser for the license after a while if the comic proved popular enough...
