A new Mario game has been announced, and it's unlike anything you ever saw before!
Remember when Mario was going to be a shooter early in the development of Super Mario Bros? Now he will be having his first FPS game, but it won't be developed by Nintendo. In a first for any major Nintendo series, this new Mario game will be developed by a third-party studio. It will be High Voltage Software, the team behind The Conduit and Tournament of Legends.

Hasn't anyone heard? Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D today, along with Valve announcing Half-Life 3, Portal 3, and Team Fortress 3, Square-Enix announcing Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy VII HD, and the other five Xenogears games. Yeah, April Fools is one sick joke on the internet.
