Will this be a big blow to Netflix? They will be losing out on a lot of movies if this goes through. Hopefully they can strike a deal with another movie distributor.
Most of the movies they have suck anyway. Hopefully this'll drive them to step up their game and get some fresh content.

Netflix is losing Starz. Why would i be talking about Starz getting fresh content?

It seemed to me like most of the starz movies were the better ones. About 90% of the rest are movies I've never even heard of. Netflix really needs to stop offering so many lame bargain bin movies that nobody wants to watch.

No, because only 8% of Netflix users time were spent watching Starz movies...And Starz wanted us to pay MORE for their content. I think it's good that Netflix isn't throwing any more money at them and can use that cash to make a more worthwhile deal elsewhere.

We used to have Starz back when we had cable. I used to love catching such big blockbusters like , Toy Story 2, Lord of the Rings, The Star Wars Saga and Pirates of Caribbean every other week but now it doesn't really matter to me anymore. I don't really care for Netflix. My humble opinion on this matter is: Why use Netflix when you have iTunes and Hulu?
Plus, Netflix has really shot themselves in the foot by raising their prices.

Ehh Starz doesn't supply much of value like they used to years ago. I ditched them when I got sick of them running the same 10 movies all day for months and it never improved enough for me to re-add them. Netflix needs them but they also need them too so if anything some late deal will probably happen for more money and maybe some lame restrictions. Either way someones going to get kicked in the nuts or both will kick each other a bit. If it totally drops, oh well, just go pick up a less greedy provider who gets more better and variety of movies like HBO.

They showed The Incredible Hulk LITERALLY every other day of the week for an entire MONTH. I was hoping to see James Cameron's Avatar and 20th Century Fox's Rio but I did see any of that. They just keep showing that Hulk, Ghost Rider and Hellboy junk.

My humble opinion on this matter is: Why buy individual movies from iTunes when you can just have unlimited streaming from Netflix for a small subscription fee of $8?
