Topic: NES games most needing an update

Anyone recall the NES games Star Tropics and Guardian Legend? ST is one of my all time favorite Legend Of Zelda type game. Actually in a way I enjoyed ST more. Why has this never gotten an update like Toki Tori got?

Also Guardian Legends was a great space shooter/adventure game. This too should have a total graphic makeover.

Anyone recall these games with fondness like I do? What others near or forgotten games need updates?

I'd like to see remake of the NES Batman game since remaking licensed games has started to take off recently with Duck Tales and Castle of Illusion.

I would love a StarTropics 3! As for Guardian Legend that game is great just as it is. In fact,I am just more of an original vs. remakes guy, at least when it comes to 8 and 16 bit games, overall.

The Ninja Gaiden Trilogy.

Especially the first two. I can’t say much about the new franchise as I’ve not played it, but I know that it’s not a retelling of the trilogy, more of a re-imagining.

It’s a solid game. I didn’t like that they changed the sprite to an oversized head outside Japan, but it plays great, it looks great, and it sounds more than great.

I know its inception was the Terminator license they had. Still, a continuation or update would sound great.

I heard that the game is brutal and has a glitch in 2-player mode.
Probably the series itself needs an update.
