Topic: National Novel Writing Month

Added the link to my novel-project-specific blog in my signature. Right now it's just musings and nonsense, but I'll be posting my actual updates daily, if anyone's interested.

And if anyone else chooses to do the same, link us! I'd love to see what people are producing off the cuff. There's something very exciting about a first draft...

Oh, by the way, I'll be posting my story as I write it at luminehall.net on the Fan Works fourm, if anyone is interested(I even got a few people there to enter too!). And feel free to join, we started as a Earthbound fan site but are hardly EB focused anymore and have become just a small community.

@Waltz: Nope! You can keep it all to yourself, you can post extracts, or you can post the whole magilla. Totally up to you. The only thing you "have" to do is update your wordcount to show you hit 50,000. And even that only matters if you yourself care about it.

I'm currently writing a vampire book, should I enter it?

Go for it! Technically you're not supposed to work on an already-existing project, but since this kind of event is self-policing I wouldn't worry about it. I've worked on pre-existing projects in the past...as long as you write 50,000 words between Nov 1 and Nov 30, I'd say that's enough of an accomplishment (and reward) in itself.

CB on that site i am SUPERZELDAMAN lol. I've actually been wanting to write some books. I want to be an author when I'm older (well now at least) but i haven't had the incentive to write books yet. I do a couple chapters then quit. Thanks for pointing this out CB

Last weekend of freedom 'til December, novelers and novelettes.

Want to, but probably won't. Exams and so on, want to spend /less/ time on the computer.

It's a shame, since I've got plenty of ideas.

I have an idea of a novel that I'll write. I'll do it next year, thought. That being said, this certainly looks good.

During National Novel Writing Month I just sleep on the keyboard. My wordcount skyrockets!

Doubts are besieging my mind now that there's one day left. Time to go over the outline again.
