Virtual console, you have parted too soon. I remember the days of downloading a game,,watching Mario running across the TV collecting coins. I remember waiting anxiously for Mondays then Thursdays to come to run home, turn on the Wii/ Wii U:/ 3DS to download new games. I remember waiting impatiently for weekly announcement of what will be released next week, even though half of the time my excitement turned to disappointment upon seeing a list of games not being the ones I was waiting for. Thank you for introducing us to retro games we never played before, especially Japan only games or rare games that are unaffordable but are accessible now thanks to you. Thank you for saving us the trouble of replacing dead batteries of our old carts. Thank you for bringing back old memories and new memories of 8, 16 and 64 bit adventures. You are now gone but never forgotten. We hope you will come back to us in the future better than ever.

Sincerely,
A die hard retro gamer

Yeah, it's such a shame that it's impossible to play those games ever again. It really sucks that the Wii, WiiU and 3DS systems have all spontaneously combusted, making their ability to play already-downloaded VC games impossible.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

Switch is a great console, probably the best Nintendo ever made, but the things Nintendo does for it? Everything Nintendo did on Wii was way better. Switch could be the best console ever made but the way Nintendo is supporting it is the worst possible. I miss good old Wii days so much. Nintendo did all the best to keep you excited about that console.

And Virtual console on Wii, with its limited save feature cured me from my bad habit to abuse state saving in retrogames so yeah, thank you Virtual console. There are so many games I learned to appreciate because of that. First of all Super Castlevania 4. I didn't like it before trying it on Virtual console, that forced me to actually learn how to play.

Die hard retro gamers love playing on retro original hardware with lots of spare batteries in their home

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

@1UP_MARIO I love retro original hardware, I expecially love how it feels when you insert a big old cartridge inside a console, I miss that feeling, but at the same time I hate original hardware (and expecially cartridges) because I keep thinking about the fact that they can get ruined and stop working. Every physical thing unfortunately sooner or later gets broken and I hate that.
It's not just about cartrideges. Since I was a little child I've always had a lot of problems and anxiety because I can't stop thinking about the fact that one day I'm going to die.
Seriously, you can imagine how unpleasant is to play with original hardware for me. I'd love to enjoy it, but the way this world works just don't allow me to. So I love much more anything that is in digital format. I hope companies will show some respect towards their own games and will make sure to always have some safe copies somewhere and make periodical backups. I know that unfortunately the less famous games probably cannot afford such treatment

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
