Ah, so the cards are more collectible than battle. I didn't expect it, but I am a bit sad to see the trading cards aren't something more like Yu-Gi-oh or Pokemon.
They could've name him something like "Steven Serpent" or something, but it's neat anyways.
I'm liking the looks of the cards, I just hope they don't mess it up and the ponies end up being just plain recolors of recolors with boring texts. Taking some details from the fandom would be a nice touch.
Most of the cards in the set are for reading and collecting, like characters, locations, and scenes. Standees are an exception: with some strategic bending you get a pop-up standee of a pony to display wherever you want. Or have tea parties with. Or you could use them as props for home movies! Anyway, there's one for each of the Cutie Mark Crusaders dressed in their rock ballad costume, and each of the mane six in Carousel Boutique fashions.
For those that are interested in coming to the Wedding dub meeting, here's some info.

You need to have a Skype account, a work microphone and a pair of headphones.
When you're going to call me/group look for: RevolverFlare
When you all get there, I'm going to tell you the rest if the requirements/rules.
@Squiggle My computer has speakers and a mic. Does that work? Also, because I'm using a computer mic, my voice will sound really asian (heavy "Accent"). Don't worry though, I can speak perfectly fine English and I believe my voice will sound less liked the stereotypical Chinese voice with a REAL microphone.
@GuardianKing: Can you wear headphones and use the mic? The main reason that I want people to wear headphones is because the microphone picks up the sound of the speakers; Basically, what other people are saying, like an echo. And don't worry, it's not like having an accent is a bad thing. On the contrary, it helps in voice acting.
Because I had to at one point.
...And old excuses/reasons are old.
.
But! There is much to say!
. @SquiggleTail
If I can make time and yank out whatever lack of motivation/courage is in the way of those tryouts, I'll give it an honest try.
I'm sure you need at least one mid-pubescent voice. Every series needs to have a cracking voice!
...But in all seriousness, I'll look at what I have in terms of Audio equipment.
.
Also, I have a feeling that I won't be the only one new to internet voice acting, (That's what's going on, right?) I did find this nice little video that is pretty much what I may-or-may-not be going off of come Saturday. (Well, the relevant parts at least.)
.
Now for comments!
.
Trading Cards!
Or at least the non-game type. Standees are a nice touch too.
. @Electricmastro
I would have completely missed part 2 if not for you posting that.
.
I have enough excuses (some might be even considered "reasons") why I don't buy the toys, but I very much find them both part great, for being physical representations from the show, and part hilarious, for their general inaccuracy with it's source material. I can't decide which one is winning.
.
...I know I had more things to say, but I need to pass out out now.
Sleep--------
Oh, and this fitting sadness.
It's a really good sawng...
@GuardianKing I am!
After long hours at a theatre I finally return to having some free time.
The free time I do have I'm vectoring, writing scripts for college playing games / watching anime.
I should be a lot more active in a couple of week due to summer holidays.
@TwilightPoint, all you have to do is show up, we can arrange a different time to record, if I require any yelling or shouting. As long as we can hear you, then it's okay.
