Topic: Mother/EarthBound VS. Golden Sun

Mother/EarthBound, or Golden Sun, which series do you think is better?

My vote is Mother/EarthBound (I think you probably knew that), the whole series is just epic, it was perfect, the humor (and I love a good RPG with humor), the epic soundtracks (one of the best I have ever heard), the weirdness, the enemies (I mean, what other RPG can you battle Hippies, Piles of Puke, and Worthless Protoplasm?), everything about it is just amazing.

So, what's your vote?

Golden Sun get's my vote, Earthbound is great and all but Golden Sun is a Masterpiece.

Golden Sun

I love the mother games. Not your typical RPG's at all. The humor and story are wonderful and will probably forever be one of my favorite series of all time.

Considering I've never played Golden Sun and have only played Mother 3 for under an hour, I don't think I'm qualified to vote. But Mother 3 has the best soundtrack ever, that I can already tell.

Mother/Earthbound gets my vote. Whenever Nintendo makes an RPG (Besides Pokemon, which I consider to be more of a fad that should've died ages ago [Remember; personal opinion.].), It's always great, whether that greatness come from the dialog or outlandish premise.

Golden Sun, I think. Earthbound's a bit boring battle-wise, but of course I haven't gotten very far yet.

I haven't played more than a few minutes of the mother/earthbound games, but I have a good start into Golden Sun. I have to go with Golden Sun since it held my interest. Speaking of which... I need to pull that cart out again and continue my game.

I've only played a few hours of Mother, I've also only played a few hours of Golden Sun.

Mother was better from what I played, playing like Dragon Quest always helps.
