Best part of the movie! I still have the VHS tape somewhere. I even bought the MK Album with songs by the immortals. I used to crank it up on my stereo and pretend fight with my friends.

I traded my VHS copy in years ago but I have it on DVD both that one and Annihilation. I also had the music album as well but I had the cassette tape. I think I still have it in storage somewhere.

That final fight in Mortal Kombat was spectacular. It may not have been the best in the movie, but with that music blaring through... pure gold. Now I want to watch it again.

A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

@Ravage: Yeah truthfully I think the best fight in the movie was Liu Kang and Reptile followed by Johnny Cage and Scorpion but the Shang Tsung Liu Kang fight was good mainly cause of the music. IMO that fight was too short it should have been longer.

Anyway for any that are interested the third episode of Mortal Kombat Legacy is now on You Tube. This weeks episode deals with Johnny Cage.

Oh yeah. I hadn't noticed it when I first saw the first Legacy video, but I showed it to my dad and he instantly recognized Sonya as Seven of Nine. I can't believe I missed that!

I checked out Episode 2 yesterday...And again, this sh*t is god awful....I'm having a hard time taking it seriously.
But I am still interested in seeing Scorpion, Sub Zero, Reptile and the like....But this crap is guaranteed to have garbage fight scenes, as evident with Jax fighting Kano in episode 2.lol

This is what happens when you have a junky low budget and try to put a realstic 'Dark Knight/Batman Begins spin on the Mortal Kombat universe while completely zapping the magic and awesomeness that made MK so awesome in the first place. Not to mention the music completely blows in the web series as well.

Now lets compare.......Bridget WIlson's Sonya easily beats the crap out of Sonya in the Web Series, there's no contest. As for Kano.....There's no comparison. In the first live action MK it felt like the perfect match, the voice, his look, it was brilliant. In the Web series however....decent I guess, but I seriously miss the evil aussie accent. I need to watch Episode 3, apperantly it's about Johnny cage. yippie!

I know what you mean but in a strange sort of way its got me hooked. Maybe I am just waiting to see how bad it can really get.

I dont know about Bridgette Wilson's Sonya it was ok but I think she made her too much of a b*tch. Her personality just wasnt what I imagined Sonya. I did like Kano though in fact alot of people did. Did you know that after the first MK movie they really developed Kano,s character in the next games? Originally they had him as an American but after the first MK movie they redid his background and said he was from Australia. I thought that was way cool. I dont know about you guys but I was ticked when they killed Kano.

Well it was nice to see that for Mortal Kombat Legacy they went with a more accurate Baraka than the re-imaged one with dreadlocks. Kinda nice to see him do his impalement fatality too. . Kitana and Mileena werent too bad either.

@Waveboy: Agree so far I liked the Johnny Cage episode the best and I am curious to see how they do Scorpion and Sub Zero since those two were my favorite.

Personally I like the look of this Shoa Khan better than the one in MKA and for me anyway I always pictured Shao Khan as more human in nature almost like a warlord not like some super natural demon thing like they showed at the end of the first Mortal Kombat movie.

And yes the animation bugged me too I was like wtf either make this anime style or live action but not both.
